A man has been ordered to vacate his own home after his wife, a single mother he married, filed for divorce and won full possession of the property.

This was revealed through a post shared online by a social media user who provided details of the situation.

According to the post, the man, who owned the house before marrying, married a woman with a child from a previous relationship.

However, the woman filed for divorce, stating that she no longer wanted to remain in the marriage. Surprisingly, the court granted her full possession of the house and instructed the man to remove his personal belongings.

In disbelief over the judgment, the man shared his thoughts: “Man buys house before marrying woman. Man marries woman. Woman moves into man’s house with an extramarital child. Woman files for divorce. Court grants woman FULL possession of house. Court tells man to REMOVE personal belongings from house. I don’t understand America 🇺🇸.”

He also shared supporting documents and expressed his frustration: “The woman says ‘she’s not doing again.’ It is the man they’re sending OUT OF HIS OWN HOUSE. What exactly is the ROI of marriage for men? After toiling in my 30’s & 40’s into stability, a woman can, ‘based on feelings,’ reap my decades of sweat? This doesn’t make sense.”
