Rudeboy threatens lawsuit against twin, Paul’s new song
Multi-award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Rudeboy sparks controversy with his reaction to his twin brother, Peter Okoye’s latest song.
In a recent Instagram post, Peter Okoye announced the release of his brand-new single, ‘Attention’, now available across all music platforms.
His post read, “Brand New!!! “ATTENTION†Audio out on ALL Music platforms. Make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel after listening! One love🤞🏾â€.
However, Rudeboy has reacted to the release of ‘Attention’, claiming that he authored and originally sang the song.
Rudeboy alleged that Peter Okoye’s song ‘Attention’ sampled his work and was initially slated for release in June 2025.
He wrote, “Song title : WINNING Written and sang by RUDEBOY Produced by same producer“.
“NOW HOW COME ? NOW AM I SUPPOSE TO RELEASE ANOTHER VERSION? Mr Producer your case na for another dayâ€.
“Just a simple thing : Bring 6 song let me bring 6 song … submitted my 6 songs to the so called management. why re-singing my own song 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ word for word 🤷🏾♂️ Song that was supposed to be in my album next year June 🤷🏾♂️â€.
