Plucking eyebrows, heavy perfume, attachment are haram – Nigerian man reminds Muslim women of things ‘forbidden’ in Islam

A Nigerian man, El Gaminana Al-zubai, has shared a list of things ‘’forbidden” for women in Islam.

According to the list, plucking eyebrows, heavy perfume, and imitating men, among others, are considered haram. 

Reacting to criticisms over his post, he wrote: “Some Muslims these days are very funny and annoying at the same time. You make a post to admonish some of the things they know they’re guilty of instead of them to just agree and then pray for Allah’s guidance they’ll be looking for a counter sin to justify or make themselves feel good. It’s so pathetic. We’re all guilty of one sin or the other as a Muslim whenever you see a reminder about something and you are not guilty of it just say alhamdulillah and move on. If you’re, just pray Allah forgives you and guide you to the right path instead of looking for others that are haram too. May Allah set our affairs straight!!.”
