A woman has gone on social media to call out the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, after her mother’s properties were demolished.
She shared videos of her mother standing on the debris of her demolished property, crying out for help.
Narrating what transpired, the social media user claimed some people claiming to be from the Lagos State Government arrived and demolished all of her mother’s houses on her land after which they set fire to the rubbles.
She claimed they returned later with “so many policemen and touts” to demolish her mother’s shops and farms.
She added that they were not given prior notice, nor did they provide a court order that gave them permission to carry out the destructive exercise.
“My father is 80, and my mother is hypertensive. I am many miles away from home, and I can’t even begin to wrap my head around what the hell is happening. Just Friday, they demolished TEN flats, TEN,” she wrote.
She proceeded to tell Governor Sanwo-Olu that he and his people would ‘’answer to God.”
