Asake’s ex-tour promoter Baba T exposes singer’s ‘stunt’ with India Love
Nigerian music sensation Asake faces fresh controversy after his former temporary tour promoter, Tunde Phoenix a.k.a Baba T exposes his romance with his alleged new girlfriend, India Love.
The fallout reportedly occurred after Asake allegedly removed Baba T from his team, sparking online drama.
The controversy began after Asake posted photos with the American model and social media influencer India Love. Many fans speculated that the two were romantically involved, drawing comparisons to Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey’s high-profile relationship.
However, Baba T took to his Instagram story to ridicule the singer, accusing him of trying to stage a similar love-dovey relationship for publicity.
In one of his posts, Baba T shared Asake and India Love’s photo with the caption, “Comparison Marketing. Please tell Alexa to stop, it’s making you look desperate out here.â€
He further criticized Asake’s promotional strategy, implying that the rollout of the alleged romance was poorly executed.
“Dead Rollout. A rollout is dead when you can smell it from a mile. Stanks just drop song e sweet small. Una sit down for meeting this is the best idea? Military finds love in America,†he wrote in another post.
Comparing Asake’s rumored relationship with India Love to Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey’s dynamic, Baba T added, “This is the effect they are looking for. But Na Error.â€
To further discredit the claims of a romance, Baba T shared a screenshot of India Love’s comment clarifying that she was not in a relationship with Asake, captioning it, “She don confess.â€
