VeryDarkMan dismisses reports of Nedu's resignation from "the honest bunch podcast," says he was sacked

Nigerian activist and social critic, VeryDarkMan, has dismissed reports that Nedu voluntarily resigned from "The Honest Bunch Podcast", asserting instead that he was sacked.
This claim surfaced in a viral post on X, formerly Twitter, where VeryDarkMan, in a fresh statement, insisted that Neduâs exit was not by choice.
Recall that Nedu recently released an official statement announcing his decision to step away from the podcast.
His departure followed allegations by VeryDarkMan, who accused him of exploiting his platform and comedy skits to seek intimate relationships with women in exchange for fame.
In his resignation statement, Nedu expressed that recent controversies had taken a personal toll, stating:
"The past week has brought a lot into perspective for me. Hosting The Honest Bunch Podcast has been an incredible journey"one built on open conversations, bold perspectives, and the willingness to tackle difficult topics. However, with that responsibility has come overwhelming scrutiny, antagonism, and unfounded accusations that have now begun to affect me personally."
"In light of recent events, I have made the difficult decision to step away from the podcast. This is not a decision I take lightly, but I believe it is necessary"for my peace of mind, my family, and the integrity of the show itself."
He further expressed hopes that his exit would put an end to the negativity surrounding his name and allow the podcast to thrive.
However, in a swift reaction, VeryDarkMan, in a viral video, dismissed Nedu's statement, emphatically stating that he was sacked.
