Police allegedly arrest tiktoker criticizing Tinubu’s government



A Nigerian TikToker has raised alarm after allegedly being arrested by the police for creating content criticizing President Tinubu’s government as part of the ongoing 30-day rant challenge.

In a series of viral videos circulating on TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), the content creator detailed how he and a group of individuals were on their way to a market square to film when they were apprehended by law enforcement officers.

According to him, they were detained at the police station for several hours.

“We were picked up at the market square while shooting content for the 30-day rant challenge. We spent over three hours at the station,” he lamented in the video.

He also made several allegations against the police and the Nigerian government.
