Lady blasts JAMB as brother’s UTME score allegedly changes overnight from 157 to 257
A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to criticize the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) after noticing a sudden overnight change in her brother’s UTME result.
The incident was shared on her page via X (formerly Twitter), where she recounted how her brother initially saw a score of 157 when he checked his UTME result.
However, when their mother checked again the following morning, the score had reportedly changed to 257.
Outraged by the inconsistency, she labeled JAMB as “stupid†in her post.
Her words: “JAMB is stupid sha. I checked my brother’s result yesterday, and it was 157, which is insane. My mom checked this morning, and his score is 257.â€
The development comes amid growing public outcry by candidates who have expressed concerns over their UTME scores in the recently concluded examination.
While many are calling on the board to review the results, JAMB has yet to issue an official response addressing the situation.
