Wike Meets CP Group In China To Boost Water Access In FCT Satellite Towns

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday met with top executives of the CP Group in China as part of ongoing efforts to secure partnerships for critical infrastructure development in Abujaâs satellite towns.
Wike, who is currently in China on official engagements, stated that the visit is focused on attracting technical support and investment to improve water supply systems across underserved communities in the FCT.
During the meeting, both parties discussed potential collaborations in water infrastructure, technology transfer, and sustainable solutions tailored to local needs.
The Minister described access to clean water as a top priority for the FCT Administration, especially in rural and peri-urban areas, and expressed optimism that the partnership would yield tangible results.
