CCTV captures man stealing phone in gym, multiple reports emerge



A Nigerian man has been declared wanted by several individuals for allegedly stealing phones in gyms across the country.

He was recently caught on CCTV at one of the fitness centers, where he pretended to be a gym member before making off with a phone.

The incident came to light through a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), where users including @UnclePamilerin, @RetroactiveTB, and others accused the man of carrying out similar thefts at different gyms.

According to them, he enters gym premises posing as a member, then disappears with victims’ phones.

In the video shared online, the man is seen walking around the gym, pretending to work out, before discreetly stealing a phone using his cap.

He then exits the gym, unaware that his actions were being recorded by the facility’s CCTV camera.

As the footage circulated online, concerned users flooded the comments section, sharing reactions and recounting similar incidents.

Many are now calling for information that could lead to his arrest.
