Chelsea to offload Jackson, Madueke and 8 others

Chelsea are preparing for a major squad overhaul this summer, with as many as 10 players potentially set to leave Stamford Bridge, according to a report by The Athletic.

Among those who could be shown the door are attacking trio Noni Madueke, Nicolas Jackson, and Christopher Nkunku. The report also names Djordje Petrovic, Armando Broja, Ben Chilwell, Axel Disasi, Raheem Sterling, Carney Chukwuemeka, and recent signing Renato Veiga as players who may be allowed to leave.

The mass clear-out is part of Chelsea’s wider strategy to raise funds for incoming transfers and rebalance the squad ahead of what promises to be a busy campaign.

The Blues have already made moves in the market, notably signing striker Liam Delap from Ipswich Town for €35.5 million. His arrival casts doubt over Jackson’s future, with the Senegalese forward possibly being encouraged to explore other opportunities.

Chelsea are reportedly targeting Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who is seen as a potential direct replacement for Madueke.

Several of the listed players, including Sterling, Petrovic, Disasi, Chilwell, Veiga, Broja, and Chukwuemeka, spent time on loan last season and could now be moved on permanently.

While Chelsea are intent on generating revenue and refining their squad depth, the sale of high-profile players like Jackson, Madueke, and Nkunku will likely hinge on the quality and value of offers received from interested clubs.
