Empress Njamah shares tearful throwback of late Ada Ameh speaking on Benue killings

Nollywood actress Empress Njamah has stirred emotions online after posting a powerful throwback video of her late best friend, Ada Ameh, speaking out about the bloodshed in Benue State â" a cry for help that remains just as relevant today.
In the emotional video, Ada â" who passed away in 2022 â" tearfully begged for prayers and justice for her people in Benue, lamenting the senseless killings that had already taken countless lives.
âToday cow better pass human being,â the late actress said, fighting through tears. âKilling people every day and there is nothing anybody can do. This is too much now. The state is in a mess. Rendering children homeless. Come on.â
She continued, âPlease, everybody in Nigeria, everywhere in the world, just be praying for Benue State. Pray for Nigeria. This is painful. The feeling is not nice at all.â
Adaâs words, recorded years ago, echo the current tragedy gripping the state â" where over 200 people were reportedly burnt alive just days ago in yet another wave of brutal violence.
Sharing the video, Empress Njamah wrote:
âKEEP RESTING IN PEACE MY DEAREST ADA 💔💔
Your strength, courage, and voice will never be forgotten. Your state, your people… they all deserve a peaceful state…
Your legacy lives on.â
The post, tagged with #PrayForBenue, has since sparked fresh conversations online, with many Nigerians expressing heartbreak over how little has changed since Adaâs emotional plea.
The late actress, known for her hearty motherly roles , was a proud daughter of Benue and a fierce advocate for her people. Her message â" once seen as a cry of despair â" now reads like a haunting warning.
