A Nigerian woman, TolaBrown Iyalaje, has shared her journey to motherhood after struggling with infertility.

Taking to X on Thursday, June 19, Tola announced that she welcomed her first child after two failed IVFs, four miscarriages, PCOS and seven years of trying to conceive. 

“2 failed IVF 4miscarriages 4uterine surgeries (Polyps and reoccurring adhesions) Pcos 7years of trying- ha ! infertility dealt with me lost myself, drowned me so much I became a shadow, lost my businesses, mental health in disarray, shook my faith, friends became strangers,” she wrote. 

“Shattered dreams, I felt my body betraying me over and over, debts, uncertainty… There were nights I held my womb and begged God wo ! I will say this story soonest .. I’m just grateful to be worthy to become a mother.. My heart is so full, I can’t stop crying. He’s so.”
