Nigerian women in Mali prison cry out over poor feeding, demand freedom

A group of Nigerian women currently incarcerated in Bamako Prison, Mali, have cried out for help, sharing a video that reveals the poor conditions they face and the kind of food they are fed.
In the video, the womenâ"numbering manyâ"can be seen protesting and demanding their freedom.
They expressed frustration over their living conditions and highlighted the poor quality of meals they are served in prison.
As the video played, the women shouted in unison, calling for freedom and pleading to be released so they could live a better life outside prison walls.
One of the women was heard saying: âThis is the food they feed us here in Mali. Weâre suffering. We need freedom.â
