EXCLUSIVE: Runtown’s SoundGod Fest IV to Include Six Tracks, Featuring Cleared Version of Dangerous Hearts

Runtown is officially set to make waves with his upcoming project, SoundGod Fest IV, and this time, he’s taking a more focused approach. The project has been confirmed to be a 6-track EP – compact, intentional, and full of promise. It marks a strategic shift from his previous full-length efforts, aiming to deliver quality over quantity while still capturing the artist’s signature blend of Afrofusion, R&B, and dancehall influences.

One of the most exciting revelations is the return of the long-anticipated track Dangerous Hearts. Originally featured on Runtown’s 2022 album Signs, the song was later removed due to issues surrounding an uncleared sample of Sade’s classic hit, Sweetest Taboo. Now, with the sample officially cleared, Dangerous Hearts will finally be released in its full glory. This move not only satisfies fans who were disappointed by the track’s disappearance but also affirms Runtown’s commitment to artistic integrity and sound quality.

With only six songs on the EP, each track is expected to carry significant weight and receive the polish it deserves. The tight structure of SoundGod Fest IV suggests a carefully curated experience, rather than a loose collection of singles. Runtown appears to be in a phase of artistic refinement, and this EP could reflect a more mature, introspective version of the SoundGod.

Fans can expect SoundGod Fest IV to drop later this summer, and anticipation is already building. From the long-awaited return of Dangerous Hearts to the promise of fresh sonic landscapes, this project is shaping up to be a standout entry in Runtown’s already impressive discography.
