Samklef denies conspiring over Mohbad case, fires back at Verydarkman
Music producer Samklef has strongly denied allegations made by social media activist Verydarkman (VDM) that he was part of a secret celebrity WhatsApp group allegedly created to sabotage the quest for justice for late singer Mohbad.
Verydarkman had earlier leaked portions of a group chat, claiming it included Samklef, actress Iyabo Ojo, Jigan Baba Oja, and others, accusing them of planning his arrest, leaking his nude video, and misleading the public after he began demanding a deeper investigation into Mohbad’s death and suggesting a DNA test for Mohbad’s son, Liam.
In a lengthy rant on X (formerly Twitter), Samklef dismissed the claims, describing Verydarkman as “a clout chaser†and “a tool working against justice.â€
“The group chat the whole world knows about even has an Instagram page. We created it to fight against bullies like Naira Marley, not to silence anybody,†Samklef wrote.
He posted a copy of Mohbad’s petition against Sam Larry for assault as part of his defense, stating, “Did Mohbad file a petition against Naira Marley and Sam Larry over threats and bullying, true or false? That’s what we were fighting for.â€
