Former US President Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama have addressed rumors that have plagued them for much of the past year.
Barack Obama joined his wife and his brother-in-law Craig Robinson on Wednesday for an episode of the siblings’ podcast, “IMO.”
During the new episode, Robinson remarked that it was “nice to have†the former first lady and president “in the same room.â€
“I know, because when we aren’t, folks think we’re divorced,†the former first lady replied.
The former president later said the divorce rumors “are the kinds of things that†he just misses.
“So, I don’t even know this stuff’s going on. And then somebody will mention it to me, and I’m all like, ‘What are you talking about?’†he added.
Michelle Obama continued on saying, “There hasn’t been one moment in our marriage where I’ve thought about quitting on my man. And we’ve had some really hard times and we’ve had a lot of fun times, a lot of adventures and I have become a better person because of the man I’m married to.â€
