Father rewards man who healed him by marrying off his 13-year-old daughter
A Nigerian father has reportedly married his 13-year-old daughter to a man in appreciation for healing him while he was sick.
In the video, the young girl recounted her experience, explaining that her father had fallen ill and was taken by a friend to a man who healed him.
Later, the man saw her in her school uniform and expressed interest in marrying her.
She said, “He married me when I was in JSS2, I was 13 years old. Some time ago, my father was unwell, my dad was taken to his place and he became well. I was going to school and I was called by him and he said he likes me. I told my parents, they said he’s their helper, but I told them I was not in support. Since then, he has been taking me to his house.â€
The girl added, “I am 16 years old now.â€
She explained that the situation has continued since she was 13.
When confronted, the man claimed, “I was told she is 20 years old†and insisted he was misinformed about her age.
