Fuji star, K1 De Ultimate denies disruptive behaviour amid aviation safety controversy
Veteran fuji star Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has addressed claims that he caused a major aviation safety breach on a ValueJet flight on August 5.
Following the incident, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority suspended two ValueJet pilots for breaching safety protocols by initiating departure while people were still on the tarmac. The NCAA also disclosed that further sanctions, including a no-fly listing for K1, were under consideration.
However, in a statement issued by his media aide, K1 described the allegations as exaggerated and misleading. He maintained that the flask contained only plain water provided by airport lounge staff and that he made efforts to clarify this before matters escalated.
