Teyana Taylor to undergo vocal surgery
Multi-award winning American singer, Teyana Taylor has opened up about her vocal struggles, revealing upcoming surgery.
The singer shared this on her Instagram story, explaining that she’s been quietly dealing with vocal challenges.
According to Teyana Taylor, she needs emergency surgery due to a noncancerous growth on one of her vocal cords.
“That’s been messing with my voice and causing real discomfort. Thankfully, we cought it and it’s treatable. But it does means I nedd to pause and give myself time to fully healâ€,The post stated.
Teyana Taylor announced that due to her health condition, she will cancel upcoming appearances, including Michelle Obama’s podcast scheduled for the weekend.
However, her album ‘Escape Room’s is scheduled for release on August 22, 2025, featuring 22 tracks.
