Woman vows never to marry man who can’t pay her ₦5m monthly

A Nigerian woman has vowed never to marry a man who can’t pay her ₦5 million monthly and change her phone every six months.

This was revealed in a video shared on the popular social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

In the video, the woman boldly outlined her expectations from any man intending to marry her, making it clear that she won’t be working in the marriage.

According to her, her only responsibilities as a wife would be giving birth and staying at home, while the man must work and provide for the household.

Her words: “In as much as I’m not beautiful, let me tell you, I cannot get married to a guy who cannot pay me a minimum of ₦5 million every month for being his wife.”

“A man who cannot pay me ₦5 million monthly, change my phone every six months, I can’t marry him. I’m not going to work as a wife. I’m only going to sit at home, have your kids. It’s your responsibility to work and bring money for us to chop.”

“Look at me very well just in case you want me, I want you to know that I cannot marry a man that doesn’t pay me ₦5 million every month.”
