Adeife says feminism isn̢۪t just about tweeting quotes or posting empowering messages online. Real empowerment comes from having choices, and choices often come with money.
“You can’t be a feminist if you’re broke. Money is what makes a woman powerful. You can’t be empowered without the means of empowerment, which is money.â€
She explained that financial dependence is why many women stay in bad relationships, unfulfilling jobs, or stressful situations.
