FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has described himself as a âgolden minister,â noting that he served as Rivers State governor during its 50th anniversary and is now FCT minister as Abuja prepares to mark its 50th next February.
Speaking at the flag-off of a road project in Katampe District, Wike said the coincidence shows Godâs love for him and urged people not to be envious.
Wike said: âSo please do all you can when Abuja would attain the golden age of 50 years, itâs done.
âSome of us have been very lucky. We are golden governors and now golden ministers, itâs not everybody that will be that lucky.
âSome of you were governors when your state was not up to 50 years, some were council chairmen when it did get up to that age but we became a governor when our state attained that golden jubilee and now we are minister when FCT will attain that golden jubilee. So you ask yourself, are we not so loved by God?
âWell you may sit on my seat but that does not mean you are loved specially like you are loved by God.â

In a post on X, Udofa revealed that during his first visit to the gym in a year, he spent more time âdodging tripodsâ than actually working out. His lighthearted complaint resonated with many users who shared similar experiences.
One user, Darlington, humorously commented that itâs now âa day in the life of a gym rat, left and right, center,â while another, Sharon, admitted that she avoids gyms altogether because she fears ending up in someoneâs Instagram or Snapchat story.
