Pep Guardiola buys luxury barchelo home as he divorces wife of 30 years
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly purchased a luxury bachelor pad in Barcelona as he finalizes his divorce from his wife of 30 years, Cristina Serra.
The 53-year-old tactician, who has been living apart from Cristina for months, recently acquired a high-end property in the affluent Pedralbes district, close to the £8.5 million family home he previously shared with his estranged wife, reports SunSport.
The new purchase is seen as a symbolic step marking the end of one of footballâs longest and most private marriages.

Inside the ârefugeâ
Local reports describe Guardiolaâs new residence as a ârefugeâ designed for peace, privacy and reflection. The spacious home features panoramic city views and top-tier finishes befitting the Spaniardâs minimalist yet refined style.
A source close to the development told SunSport, âItâs a spacious home with spectacular views and elegant interiors that mirror Pepâs taste.
“The location offers both convenience and calm, near Barcelonaâs vibrant center yet quiet enough for him to recharge after long days in football.â

Staying close to familiar roots
Interestingly, the new home is in the same exclusive neighbourhood where Guardiola and Cristina bought their first joint property in 2021.
Spanish showbiz journalists Laura Fa and Lorena Vázquez, known as âLas Mamarazzisâ, who first reported on the coupleâs split earlier this year, noted that Guardiola wanted to remain close to his old community.
Fa said, âThe fact that Pep chose a house near his old family home shows he didnât want to disconnect from the area he still considers home.â
Reports also indicate that divorce proceedings, initially described as âfriendly,â have now moved to a âcordialâ phase. The couple, who share three children, have managed to keep details of their separation largely private.
