"Asake will perform live at my wedding" – Wizkid
Nigerian Grammy-winning superstar, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has revealed that he wants fellow hitmaker Asake to perform at his wedding.
Wizkid made the revelation during a recent appearance on Apple Music Radio, where he sat down with Asake and DJ Tunez for a relaxed, fun-filled conversation.
The Starboy boss confessed that Asake's breakout hit 'Omo Ope' turned him into a fan from the very first listen.
"'Omo Ope' made me an Asake fan from the first listen. But my favourite Asake song is 'Remember'. I think you have to play that one on my wedding day. It is an amazing record, he said."
"You are amazing. You have one of the most special voices from home and in the world. I've told you that like a million times… You are a blessing to African music, he added."
